Just Another Day in the Life…

So life is a little bit different now!  I am finally 6 months old and growing like crazy.  The Doctors says I am in the 90th percentile for my height and weight.  Im not sure what that means but I know that Grandpa Mike is always telling Mommy Im going to be a football player.  Mommy hasnt been keeping everyone up to date because I keep her so busy.

On March 11th I rolled over for the first time. Mommy and Daddy were so proud,  I didnt roll over all the time after that but every once in a while I would.  Now Im rolling all the time.

On March 12th I sat up on my own for over a minute.  Mommy and Daddy made jokes that at the rate I was going I would be talking by the end of the week. From then on I loved being upright. Although I still prefer standing or jumping.

On April 2nd Mommy and Daddy let me sleep in my own crib.  I enjoyed being in the bassinet and being so close to them but I needed room to stretch my arms.  Now I sleep so well in my own room.  I listen to my  Baby Einstein Lullabies that Grandma Anne bought me for Christmas and dream about wonderful things.

On April 30th Mommy fed me my first bite of rice cereal.  I loved it and it felt so good in my tummy all night long.  Soon after I tried peas and carrots and now Im also eating oatmeal with bananas which is my favorite.  But I still like my cuddle time with Mommy and my bottle, and I think Mommy likes it too.  She wont put me down to sleep sometimes until Daddy begs her!

My favorite things to do right now are go visit Grandpa Mike and his puppies and when Grandma Anne comes over and spends the day with me. I love when Auntie Shannon and Uncle Ryan come to visit, and of course to play with my favorite cousin Jake.  Im so excited to meet my new cousin in October and have him come to my 1st birthday party. I also like to spit, chew on my fingers or anything I can get my hands on and hit the mirror with my hands.  I like to flirt with my Tias and My Nicki (Mommy’s friends). I love when Daddy and I play with Anberlyn my puppy, well I love anything with Daddy.  He is my favorite and Mommy is jealous that I will copy Daddy when he says “Da Da” to me.  I also like when Grandpa Dan takes me outside and when Grandma Kathie gives me kisses. Im not to fond of taking naps but I sleep for 11-13 hours at night so Im sure Im fine without alot of them although Mommy tries all the time because I tend to get grumpy! Oh an I love to play with Daddy’s computer mouse….I think Im going to like computers just like Dad!

Well life as I know it is pretty fun!  I really couldnt ask for more God has blessed me tremendously and Mommy and Daddy seem to love me alot!

Love always,

Cayden Robert

Daddy’s Big Day…

So everyone came to New Mexico this past weekend to see me, and since they were here they went to Daddy’s Graduation Ceremony.  The speakers were so exciting to listen to I fell asleep on my Grandpa Mark’s chest.

Every time the crowd clapped I woke up.  We had a wonderful time going to dinner on Thursday night with Grandpa and Grandma Trebitowski and Great Grandpa Moe at El Pinto.  I sat in a highchair and watched all the people eat.  I was jealous that cousin Jake was able to get up and play,  but Mommy says it wont be long until I get to get up also.  On Friday Cousin Michael and his beautiful girlfriend Natalie came to stay with us and I had so much fun playing with them.

Natalie sat in the back seat of the Jeep and I loved smiling at her.  Saturday at the graduation and the graduation party I got so much attention.  Great Grandma Boule came all the way from Arizona and she made me laugh so much while Mommy and everyone was setting up for the party. Grandma Kathie made so much yummy lasagna and salad.  I cant wait till I have teeth so I can enjoy all her wonderful cooking, until then I will have to stick to my peas and carrots. Great Uncle Jim held me while Mommy and Daddy talked with other people and I loved getting lots of hugs.  Grandma Anne and Grandpa Mike also kept me entertained.  I was surprised to see that Grandpa Mike came out to the party seeing as it was probably past his bed time.  I didn’t understand why Daddy was wearing a big red dress and such a funny hat, but everyone wanted to take pictures with him so I guess it was cool. I loved grabbing his yellow tassel.  I had so much fun seeing everyone and meeting all the new people! I wish Daddy could graduate every weekend so I could see you all again and again.

Love Always,

Cayden Robert

Ps. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Treb for the fun toys and growth chart I cant wait to see you in August!
